Every year, Gan Eng Seng School affirms the CCA achievements and contributions of its students with the National Day Awards. The recipients of these awards have exhibited the values of discipline and resilience and are positive role models for fellow Gessians.
The various categories of the National Day Awards and their information are as follows:
| Type of Award | Award Information |
|---|---|
| Dedicated Service Award | The Dedicated Service Award is given to students who showed strong commitment and dedication, as well as positive attitude in their CCAs or school appointments. |
| Good Progress CCA Award | The Good Progress Award is given to “turnaround” students who showed vast improvement in their attendance, commitment and attitude to their CCAs or school appointments. |
| Colours Award | The Colours Award is given to students with outstanding performances in sports and games. |
| Best CCA Member Award | The Best CCA Member Award is given to the most outstanding student of the respective CCA. |
