Open Stage Concert Band Competition

On 20 July, GESS Marching Band participated in the Open Stage Concert Band Competition held at Festive Plaza Stage (Level 1) at Our Tampines Hub as part of the Tampines Central PAssionArts Festival 2024, alongside 6 other bands.

They presented two choice pieces: Postcard from Singapore: Movement 1 (Philip Sparke) and Torch of Liberty (Karl L. King | Arranged by James Swearingen)

We are honoured and delighted to announce that through their performance, they were awarded five out of five stars again, walking away with a cash prize of SGD$1000
