Internationalisation Trip to Chiang Mai Thailand
Day 1: We started our Chiang Mai adventure with an early morning flight from Singapore
After arriving, we enjoyed a hearty local meal before visiting the Chiang Mai Cultural Centre and the 3 Kings Monument, where we learned about the city’s rich history. We ended the day with a Khantoke Dinner and an exciting cultural performance featuring our very own Gessians!
Day 2: We visited Suanboonyopatham Lamphun School for the first day of our School Immersion Programme joining lessons, meeting our buddies, and touring the large campus. In the afternoon, we customised umbrellas at the Umbrella Factory before visiting the Golden Temple and enjoying a Mookata dinner.
Day 3: Back at Suanboonyopatham Lamphun School, we performed an energetic dance during assembly and took part in cultural activities such as banana leaf craft, music, and dance. After a final lunch and farewell with our buddies we visited the Long Neck Village and Elephant Poo Park where we made bookmarks from recycled elephant paper. We ended the day with dinner at Kahomao-Khaofang Imaginary Jungle a Michelin Guide-recommended restaurant.
Day 4: On our final day, we visited the Silver Temple and made DIY keychains as souvenirs. After lunch at a local halal restaurant, The Baragus, our tour guides treated us to authentic ChaTraMue milk tea before we flew back to Singapore.
Through this memorable trip, we forged new friendships, gained cultural insights, and created lasting memories. We would like to thank all the teachers who made this amazing experience possible.
